How to Complain – Rule 1

NEVER COMPLAIN BY PHONE (unless you can record your calls).

Complain by email, Facebook or Twitter (which is very effective indeed as it goes to every other follower of the company!).

Any of these will do, but ALWAYS complain in WRITING.

Best of all is:

A letter. In the post. With a stamp.  It will get their attention.

But whatever form you use to make your complaint, it must be IN WRITING.

They will telephone you in response.

Precisely because it ISN’T in writing, so they can deny it later.

If they ring up to discuss it, and they will, tell them to email you because you can’t talk now. Everything MUST be in writing.
